Important Dates for 2013

Below are some of the Important Dates for 2013:

Zone Swimming Carnival - Friday 8th March at Warringah Aquatic Centre.
Zone Cross Country** - Wednesday 29th May at John Fisher Park, with wet weather back up dates of Wednesday 5th June and 12th June (hopefully these will NOT be needed).
Combined Zones Gala Day - Friday 14th June, with wet weather back up of Friday 21st June.
Zone Athletics - Friday 23rd August and Friday 30th August at Narrabeen Academy of Sport.
Combined Zones ? Eagle Tag Gala Day - Friday 29th November at Millers and David Thomas Reserves.

** May be brought forward to Wednesday 22nd May due to a Regional Calendar clash.
     Will keep you updated.

Summer Sport for 2013 will commence Friday 1st March and have 3 Rounds for Term 1.
Winter Sport for 2013 will commence Friday 10th May and have 9 Rounds plus finals in Terms 2 & 3.
Summer Sport 2013 will resume Friday 13th September and have 6 Rounds plus finals in Terms 3 & 4.

Combined Zones Gala Day

After many telephone calls and lots of discussion, the Combined Zones Gala Day will go ahead tomorrow (22/6) for Open Soccer and Netball only.
Rugby League was cancelled due to the closure of Nolans Reserve (it's still underwater), and Tennis was cancelled as unfortunately, Tennis Northern Beaches was unavailable this week.

Good luck to all schools competing, and let's hope we have better luck next year.

Next Meeting

The next meeting of the Manly PSSA will be on Wednesday 8 August 2012.
It will be at Curl Curl North PS in the library from 4pm.
